We connect single mothers with "angels" in the community who will help them meet their goals for transforming their lives. The "angels" are our partners who provide free or discounted services or products to enable single mothers to become self-supporting and independent women.
Incorporated in 2007, by the State of Georgia under the Georgia Non-Profit Charitable Code ( O.C.G.A. 43-17-5) The Angel Connection, Inc. is a faith based organization that serves single mothers in Forsyth County, Georgia. Exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code has been approved. Contributions are deductible under secion 170 of the code. The Grocery Garage Sale began in November 2007 in a driveway and has been given the opportunity a year later to be helping people in our community at our new location: 570 Veterans Memorial Blvd. We provide affordable food, health, & beauty staples for your household at savings of up to 80% off retail. How? The Grocery Garage Sale uses coupons and rebates to purchase items for free or nearly free prices and then offer the savings on to the public. The average person doesn’t take time to cut out coupons & send in rebates. The work is already done for them when they shop at the Grocery Garage Sale; saving them lots money! We also teach classes on how to cut your own grocery bill in half as rising costs have made us all count our pennies a little more closely. Our next classes will be in August 2009.
